Orange Cat Co Photography was a featured artist at the Overland Park Art Show this past weekend! We braved the wind and 90 degree heat for two days, and I learned a lot about art shows and how to move forward with my landscape photography in the future. Overall, I am happy to report that Orange Cat Co Photography's first art show was a resounding success!
If you missed Orange Cat Co Photography at the Overland Park Art Show and would like to see my work, stop in at Shop Small Saturday on September 3rd at the Brew Ha Ha Coffee House in Overland Park. Orange Cat Co Photography will be there!

Mrs. S reached out to me through my Better Business Bureau Profile, she wanted to have family portraits taken. We decided to meet up at the Nelson-Atkin's Museum of Art to take advantage of the architectural backdrops as well as the natural scenery. The S family is a close-knit family and you can just see the love bubbling out of their portraits. An absolute joy to work with, and the portraits came out beautiful despite the cloudy skies. I wish the S family all the best.
I can usually tell how a photography session is going to go within the first few minutes of meeting my clients. The R family climbed out of the car smiling and giggling at each other. I immediately knew this was going to be a fantastic session. M, the oldest daughter was visiting from out-of-state and decided to purchase a photography session for her mom for Mother's Day. The last time the family had family portraits was before the younger daughter was born. They were a bit overdue. Grandma also came along for pictures. The fun-loving family was open for everything, and offered tons of their own suggestions. The end result? Beautiful family portraits with just a touch of mischief and laughter. Perfection.
